Who runs this site
EmojiSpot (emojispot.world) is an independent site, run under the name EmojiSpot. For anything in this policy, write to emojispot@proton.me.
Information we collect
None. EmojiSpot has no user accounts, no newsletter, no login, no comments and no server-side logs of your activity beyond the ordinary request records any web host keeps.
What your browser stores locally
To make the site useful between visits, your own browser keeps a few small values on your own device, using local storage:
• your favourites
• the emoji you copied recently
• your chosen skin tone
• your light/dark theme preference
• your chosen language
These never travel to us or to anyone else. They live in your browser only, and deleting your browser data for this site removes all of them.
Cookies
EmojiSpot does not currently set cookies.
If we ever show advertising
EmojiSpot does not run advertising today. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and the following will apply:
Third-party ad providers such as Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Before any advertising goes live we will add a cookie consent notice so that nothing is set until you agree. The notice is already built into this site and switched off.
Analytics
No third-party analytics script is loaded. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, it will be disclosed here first.
Children
EmojiSpot is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Third parties
The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles delivery and security. Cloudflare may process standard technical data such as your IP address for the purpose of serving the page and blocking attacks. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will also be noted on the About page.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on request. If you want to remove the values stored in your own browser, clear the site data for emojispot.world in your browser settings.
If you are in the EEA, UK or another region with data protection law and still have a question, contact emojispot@proton.me and we will answer.
